Reports now suggest that the Chicago Fire are actively pursuing a deal for the Norwegian international.

Addressing the rumours surrounding his future, Berg commented on the situation in a measured tone. As cited by TV2, he stated, “I think it’s been a nice process all the way. Good communication from the club and I feel there’s been respect all the way.
“I have taken it all very calmly, but of course there has been a lot of speculation around it. I feel both I and Glimt have taken it all with historic calm.”
