Martin O’Neill is confident that Kasper Hogh will be a success at Celtic after the club completed a move for the former Bodo/Glimt striker.
The forward will have another opportunity to compete in the Champions League, a competition where he impressed last season by scoring important goals for the Norwegian side against strong opponents. His performances at that level helped increase his reputation.
Hogh ready for Celtic challenge
It was his displays against teams such as Manchester City that attracted Celtic’s attention, with the club having monitored his situation and attempted to bring him to Scotland since January.
A deal could not be completed at that stage, but Celtic have now secured their target and will look to provide Hogh with the support needed to help him perform well. O’Neill believes the striker has the ability and experience to make a positive impact.
